Jamie Dress
Jamie wedding dress is a vintage replica with only a couple of minor changes to the design. The original wedding dress was made in the 1940s and given to me by my elderly neighbour, Dot.
Dot often referred to my eldest son as ‘Jamie’ which is not his name! And so, as Dot didn’t have any children of her own and clearly liked the name I chose to name her dress ‘Jamie’.
I loved the dress so much that I decided to recreate it using a modern crepe fabric and added the centre front split in the skirt.
The style is elegant and classic, timeless and sophisticated.
